A Master's degree is the second level of higher education, which is pursued after completing a Bachelor's degree.
In Uzbekistan, a master's degree is the second level of higher education available to individuals with a bachelor's degree. Admission is carried out based on the results of entrance exams conducted according to the rating system and requires confirmation of the level of foreign language proficiency. Starting from 2025, a foreign language proficiency certificate confirming B2 or C1 proficiency will be required for admission, depending on the specialty.
Main points of admission to the master's program:
• Entrance tests:
Conducted in a foreign language, specialty profile, and taking into account the average score of the bachelor's diploma.
• Language certificate:
Starting from 2025, a B2 or C1 level is mandatory for all applicants.
• Two stages of admission:
In August (on the basis of grants and contracts) and in January (for unfilled places).
• Competitive basis:
Applicants compete based on their scores, primarily for state grants.
• Paid seats:
The remaining applicants may be admitted on a paid basis within the established quotas.
